Graphic Design & Work Experience

I have been working with programs like Photoshop for over 15 years. I remember getting my first computer, and a hand-me-down copy of Adobe Photoshop from my step-father. The computer was a hulking tower with a plethora of thick wires and a hard-line into the phone jack. I booted up Photoshop and never turned back. I used the program to create everything from birthday cards to custom game assets for the Sims. I learned every tool I could through trial and error, explored and tested it and found my own way. Hours and hours of my youth spent toiling and it was the best thing I ever did. All through high school I used my Photoshop skills to create banners, event tickets, stickers and flyers for art club events and more. And when I decided to pursue art and design in college I really got to experience the high end productions and tasks that these programs were capable of.

Adobe CC (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro (Video/Audio Recording and editing), Audition (Audio recording and editing), Animate (previously Flash) & more

Alternative and subsequent programs Autodesk Sketchbook, Active Presenter (screen capture and video/audio editing), Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Excel, Etc.) & more

I have worked as a Graphics specialist and Designer for various companies. I have experience with high demand, high volume design work. I have one on one experience with clients and prospective clients. I have worked in a team environment with multiple designers, project managers and associates. I have been my own manager as a freelance designer and independent contractor. Graphic Design Is a fast paced and competitive market especially for a freelance artist. I am self-motivated and constantly learning new skills and programs to further develop and strengthen my existing skills as a graphics designer. I am currently refreshing my Adobe Animate skills and learning Coding/Styling with Sublime and Brackets (HTML/CSS/JS).

Custom brushes for Photoshop initial designs created using traditional paints, scanned on a Cannon printer, turned into vectors using Illustrator, further processed with Adobe Photoshop for clean brush strokes and textures.
