Children's Books
I have been writing and drawing since I was a little girl. My stories have given me the greatest escape from the world. A tiny place for innocent things to hide. A place where anything is possible. A place where children can be the heroes of their own stories.
My Illustration style is very flexible, so when I work on children's books, storyboards, and animation projects I have a very simple and loose style that focuses on movement and repetition. These drawings are done quickly and are very gestural adding to their childlike appeal and spirit.
For my illustration work I use digital or traditional mediums. I have published several children's books using exclusively hand drawn, watercolor illustrations. Titles include Delilah The Dog Sitter, Lily Loves Dinosaurs, and The Cheese Party.
Since I have been accumulating material my whole life I have countless books in production at any moment in time. My ultimate goal is to publish one per year.
