Origin Story "Sharlotte: First Memories"
'Lemons Dance' This is a fun little animation I created recently as I re familiarized myself with Adobe Animate (Previously Adobe Flash) It was a great exercise and It challenged me to dig deep for those animation skills I had so long ago. I am planning on creating more detailed and fluid animations in the future, just for side projects and to keep myself up to date with the technology as it has been changing so much. I would hate to lose the ability to create animations because I couldn't make time to relearn the programs. I was very inspired by '"Lemon" by by N.E.R.D ft. Rihanna' And this is what I see in my head every single time I hear that song!
'Astro Rocks' Is a short storyboard/animatic that I created during my studies at The Art Institute of California, San Francisco (AICASF). I loved studying 2D animation because my instructor was extremely focused on improved workflow. I have always believed in "Work smarter, not harder" and working with Instructors that were also established animators and designers just made it so much easier to implement that into my workflow. This was about a 30 minute project to test speed and concept. 'Design a commercial for a product' I used the satire of early 90's marketing to create a silly take on cereal commercials.
